OER policy workshop in Nigeria

With COL’s support, the Centre for Open and Distance Learning at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, hosted a three-day faculty workshop to develop an institutional policy on OER. Professor Wahab Egbewole, vice chancellor of the university, inaugurated the workshop, which had 46 participants. Thanking COL for the partnership and support, Professor Bashiru Omipidan, Director of the University’s ODL centre, said that the workshop contributed to improving faculty capacity while also leading to a draft institutional policy on OER.
